Due to the vast wealth of information available on a wide variety of Native American Indian Tribes and Tribal Arts, I will present a comprehensive alphabetical listing of as many Native American Indian Tribes and Nations that I can find.  Additionally, the area of concentration of these various Native American Indian Tribes and Nations will be noted in red.

Accohannock - website devloted to the Accohannock, a non-federally recognized Tribe.  The Accohannock Indian Tribe is one of the oldest historical tribes in Maryland.

Alabama-Coushatta Tribe of Texas - Informative website all about the Alabama-Coushatta Tribe.  Members of the Upper Creek Confederacy of Indians and the Muskogean Nation.  Tyler County, East Texas

Alaska Native Artists - a virtual art program serving Alaska Native artists.
The website was established by Sealaska Heritage Institute, a regional Native nonprofit founded in 1981 to perpetuate and enhance Tlingit, Haida and Tsimshian cultures.

Alaska Native Knowledge Network -  a resource for compiling and exchanging information related to Alaska Native knowledge systems and ways of knowing.

Alaskool - Online referenes on Alaska Native history, education, languages and cultures.  Perfect resource for teachers, students and anyone interested in Alaska's first people.

Algonquin - The Ardoch Algonguin First Nation is an Anishnabek community that is located in the Madawaska, Mississippi and Rideau watersheds.  Algonquin is not designated as an Indian Band by the government of Canada

Apache - Website of the White Mountain Apache Tribe.  Located at the historic Fort Apache, Arizona.

Arikara - Website of Three Affilated Tribes - Mandan, Hidatsa and Arikara Nations of Fort Berthold Reservation.  A website resource guide provides basic information about the histories and cultures of the Three Affiliated Tribes - the Mandan, Hidatsa and Sahnish.  Missouri River area from southern South Dakota through North Dakota to Montana.

Athabascan - A website devoted to the Northern Athabascan people, who have occupied central Alaska and northwestern Canada for more than 40,000 years, according to native oral traditions of our elders.  Copper River Basin to the south of the Kenai Peninsula.

Arapaho -  Website of the Araphao Business Council.  The Wind River Reservation is home to the Northern Arapaho.  Tribal headquarters on the reservation is located at Fort Washakie, Wyoming.

Cook Inlet Tribal Council - Cook Inlet Tribal Council, Inc. (CITC) provides social, educational and employment services to Alaska Natives and Native Americans living in the Cook Inlet region. Alaska.

Coushatta Indian Baskets & Basketry

Igiugig - a small village (population 56) located in southwestern Alaska, on the south bank of the mouth of the Kvichak River and Lake Iliamna. The Village's population consists mainly of Yupik Eskimos, Aleuts, and Athabascan Indians.  Website with information about life, government, economy, tourism and photographs. 

Kanatak - The Native Tribe of Kanatak, Alaska

Koyukuk - website about ife in the Koyukon Athabaskan village of Koyukuk. The pictures and stories were created primarily by students at Ella B. Vernetti School, a Kindergarten through 10th grade school that is part of Yukon-Koyukuk School District. Other information was contributed by community adults and by visitors.  Koyukuk, Alaska
