An open weave base with a natural birch bark decorative piece woven into the front of the basket lends a contemporary touch to this lovely all-natural woven basket.
The oak heart handle is woven into the body of the basket along the spokes in the back and provides a method of hanging this basket should you desire. The basket was handcrafted to sit flat to display or on shelf.
This Alaska Birch Bark and Cedar Bark Basket has been given a light clear coat of varnish on the outside to protect and strengthen the pliable bark and to enhance the natural colors of the materials.
