Handwoven Seafoam Green Fruit Basket
Large handwoven decorative fruit bowl basket hand-crafted from natural round and flat rattan basketmaking reed with an accent color of seafoam green, initialed by the basketmaking artist. This woven fruit bowl basket has been left natural so that fresh fruits or vegetables can be displayed. Hand woven with a spoke design basket pattern in the base and plain basketweaving up the sides.
The loosely woven rim detail gives this fruit basket a lacy look. The colors work so well in a country setting or at a sea side beach house. This large hand woven fruit basket measures 10" diameter and 4-1/2" high. The flat reed used to craft this basket has been left in a rough state - it is not smooth, but adds to the country and seaside charm.
As with any hand woven basket, please use a fabric material liner when using a basket for food presentation or serving.
