Colorful handwoven Lidded Pumpkin Baskets - perfect for fall holiday decorating or to use as a table centerpiece basket or as a unique gift basket. Much more interesting and colorful than a cornucopia! Each Lidded Pumpkin Basket can be filled with Halloween treats, too!
Each of these handcrafted and hand woven Lidded Pumpkin Baskets is crafted in a spoke style with 1/2" basket spokes, thin basketweaving and a modified braided rim along the top of the basket and the lid. The handwoven basket lid is attached in the back with string, (folk art style) and completely dyed (inside and out) in a festive pumpkin orange color.
The attached carved wood stem is dyed a hunter green and is nailed up through the lid and into the wooden stem. The stem not only gives this lidded Pumpkin Basket its distinctive pumpkin design, but also is used as a basket handle or knob. The woven Pumpkin Basket lid is attached in the rear of the basket with string.
Each of these handwoven Lidded Pumpkin Baskets (I have five available) measure approximately 6" in diameter, 3" tall to the rims and 6" tall to the top of the pumpkin stem.
