Sweet Longaberger Basket 1999 Lots of Luck Combo ready to add to your Longaberger basket collection or to use on St. Patrick's Day. The Lots of Luck is the first St. Patrick's Day theme basket offered by Longaberger since 1990, and was available only during January 1999.
The Lots of Luck Basket measures 4 1/4" x 4 1/4" x 3" , features a three-leaf shamrock and "1999" burned into the bottom, and a new scalloped, pearled-edge liner. This Longaberger Combo comes complete with the Basket, Protector, Liner and the Lots of Luck Tie-on. Never used and only removed from the packages for photography purposes!
Picture this 1999 Lots of Luck Tie-on on your Lots of Luck Basket or other favorite smaller-sized Longaberger basket to give it a little luck 'o the Irish! The pottery tie-on is made of vitrified ivory pottery in the shape of a three-leaf clover and features multiple shades of green and elegant 24 carat gold trim, making it one of Longaberger's prettiest tie-on's ever. This Tie-on measures 1" x 1", has a brass jewelry clasp attached to the top, and comes in a gift box with an ivory ribbon edged in gold.
This basket now holds an extra special significance to the Longaberger collector. This basket was featured for St. Patrick's Day, which, sadly also turned out to be the day the world lost a wonderful person - Dave Longaberger, founder of The Longaberger Company, who passed away on March 17, 1999.
