Handwoven Wall Hanging Basket Mixed Materials
Handwoven wall hanging basket made with mixed materials. Half-round ribbed basket woven with dyed (blue) rattan reed, grape vine, dyed blue yarn, seagrass, twine and a decorative philodendron leaf as the center.
The twisted grapevine handle and natural curls have been dyed a chocolate brown (the IN color this year) together with teal blue dyed rattan reed and blue yarn. Additional tight weaving was achieved with twisted seagrass, un-twisted seagrass and a wide dyed philodendron leaf. The flat back of this ribbed hanging wall basket lends itself to being placed on a wall - to hold mail, dried flowers or "as is"! All natural materials.
This hand-woven hanging wall basket will mixed natural weaving materials measures 12" tall, 10.75" wide and 5.5" deep (front to back). Handwoven by Kathleen Becker - Simply Baskets.
