Handwoven Mail Storage Basket Bows
Large hand-woven mail storage basket featuring colored basketweavers and decorative bows, a filled basket and large enough to even store magazines!
This vintage handwoven mail storage basket was designed to sit flat on a counter or shelf, but this woven basket could easily be adapted to use as a hanging mail basket simply by tying raffia to the back, which would enable this basket to be hung on a wall or a door to receive and store mail and magazines.
Handwoven of flat weavers, with blue and dark pink accents, which include three decorative bows near the top. The rims are single lashed in rattan weaving, and the body of this basket is woven tightly, as is the filled base, which keeps small items and mail from falling through.
This large hand-woven mail or storage basket measures 9.5" x 7.5" and stands 9.5" tall to the top of the basket rims. Signed and dated on the base by the basketweaving artist.
